Port Tavern Completed

Well, just threw that last few finishing touches on this thing. All in all, it ended up a little bigger than I had intended but it works. I'm pleased enough with how it looks to feel like starting on another building right away, so look for WIP pics of that soon.
Thanks for takin a look!

It's Alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, after some pondering and deliberation I have decided to breathe life into my Blog once again.
I have been working on lots of new things and some of the same old as well.
The Geek Garage is still up and running, but it was clear that busy lives were getting in the way of posting content( dont they always) So, while I plan to post mostly here, I may still throw some stuff that way as well.

Infinity: Charontid

I have been playing some games of Infinity lately, really just some battle box games to get the feel for it. Anyway, this guy was whooping up on people so, I thought he deserved to be painted.
I've really been enjoying painting the Combined army figs, as they are a nice change of pace from the stuff I normally work on.
Here he is with a few in progress pics as well. Thanks for looking.

Mid-Nor: Cthonian Larvae

Well, now that the Holidays have calmed down, and life has resumed as normal, I found a few minutes to sling some paint.
Been working on this guy for a little while but held off finishing him at the thought of painting all of those individual eyes. Painting just 2 on a fig is usually bad enough!
In the end, I'm glad I took the time to do it , as I think it adds a whole new level of creepy grossness to an already nasty fig.
Thanks for checking him....it out.

Port Tavern ready for paint.

Finally found some time to get a little more work done on this. It still needs a few tiny details like a door handle and maybe a pipe or two more, but for the most part it is ready for paint.
My automatic thinking is to paint the walls cream, and the roof blue, because of  all the old Warhammer cities I used to ogle in white dwarf magazine. I am going to have to try to break away from it though and make this unique looking.
I plan to get crackin on the next building(probably a tall Inn) pretty soon, so as to keep this project rolling.

Breast cancer Brawl: ESkarre finished.

Well, here she is, ready to go off to the tourney. I am fairly pleased with how she turned out, though I felt I rushed her a bit at the end because I'm a terrible procrastinator. I think when I buy one for myself, I may go with an almost exact color scheme.(minus the pink hair) I'm glad I got asked to paint her for a good cause, and hope to do more in the future.

WIP: Breast Cancer Brawl Donation

So, along with John, I was also asked to paint a fig for our local Breast Cancer awareness tournament. I ended up getting handed E-Skarre to paint, and I have to say that I am mightily impressed with how nice of a figure this is. Real fun to paint so far, I'm going to have to get one for my Cryx army now for sure.
Here's is what I've gotten done on her so far.
